What is Imagine?
Imagine is a First Person 3D File Management System. Allowing users to Move and Organize there computer in a way never thought of before.

How do i update Imagine?
Simply Download the Installer again, and run the Setup.exe
The Location - www.Imaginein3d.com/setup/Imagine.msi Will Always be the most Up-to Date-Release of imagine. Downloading This File and Installing Over your current Installation will bring you up-to-date.
What are the Basic Controls and How do i move?
Imagine is based on the premise of a First Person Shooter or FPS Game. Most FPS Games follow suit on all their control's. Imagine is the Same Way, Below you will find a list of controls to Imagine
W - Move Forward
S - Move Backward
A - Strafe/Move Left
D- Strafe/Move Right
Q - Altitude\Elevation Up
E - Altitude\Elevation Down
Mouse Movement - Look Around
Left Click - Select / Unselect Objects
Right Click - Right Click Menu
E - Grab Object
Mouse Wheel - Rotate Object Options
Ctrl + ~ (Tilde) - Hide & Unlock Mouse
Alt + Selecting - MultiSelect Objects
Alt + F3 - Reset Objects Positions in Current Folder and Explode
Alt + F4 - Reset All Object Positions and Explore
BackSpace - Go Back a Directory / Last Directory
P - Physics On/Off
F1 - Help and About
F2 - Configuration Menu
F3 - Toggle FullScreen
F - Bring Up Secondary Menu
TAB - Show a List of Controls
ESC - Exit

Debugging Controlsw do i Select an Object?
You can Simply Point and Left Click to Start a File, or Open a Folder. However if you wish to just Select an Object. Holding Control Will Select The Object, and you will notice the 3D Representation of the Object Change confirming it has been selected.
How Do i Multiple Select Objects?
You Simple Hold the Control Button on the keyboard and Left Click the Multiple Objects you wish. There 3D Representation's will change, Confirming they are selected. From here you may right click on any one of your selected objects, and use one of the File Commands Accordingly. If however you release the control key and Select an object, Your previous selection is Unselected. Just like normal file operations in windows.
How do i Bring up the Command Menu on an Object?
You simply Right Click on an Object, and its Command Menu Will Appear. Depending on the object, its options will be presented to you. For Instance You cannot Delete a Fixxed Hard Disk. So That Option does not appear.
What Kind of Computer do i need to run Imagine?
Please refresh to the Download Section for a list of System Requirements.
Will Imagine Work on my Xbox 360?
At this Point in the March 2011 Release, Imagine Will not work on the Xbox 360.
This WILL change.
The problem is the Xbox 360 does not have support for some options needed from windows. For Example Message Box's, Command Labels and that sort of thing. Once we have launched and have working feedback and models for xbox360. We Will Release a Xbox 360 Version of Imagine.
When i look into a Directory that has alot of files, Imagine Slows down, how can i speed it up?
Imagine is a very new idea, that is very Hardware dependant. Although low powered systems like Single Core 1Ghz can handle Imagine. Browsing Through Directories with 100+ Items, May become slow. If this is the case and you want a performance increase im sorry but you must upgrade your Graphic's Adapter, Possibly even CPU and RAM Depending on your current System
Why are some options in the online video's, not in my version of Imagine?
Being the Developer, I have Full Control, My version's are Debugging Versions that allow me to view data and objects in 3D.
How does Imagine Handel Locations, and Organization of Objects?
Imagine will save 3D Position information based on File Name and Full File Path... For Instance..
C:\Example\PhoneNumbers.Txt Maybe Located at 0,0,1
But if you were to move it, into a new directory the objects position will be given a default location, until moved by the user once more.
What Direction is Imagine Going in?
Imagine will hopefully be a new user interface for windows, basing on a gaming environment, giving the user freedom, and mobility, to Organize all objects on the computer in a User Specific Order
We have ideas about including TDR Applications from military to allow us to Model Building and Networks in a 3D Environment, But at this point... Although Very Possible.... I am using my Imagination...
Imagine WILL have a compatible and working version for Xbox 360 in the future.
Xbox 360 Version of Imagine will allow you to Browse your Window's Shared Network, and will take advantage of, or have a built in, Video Player in order to have a Media Center Effect. Same thing for Photo's

Does imagine have any other language support?
No unfortunately not at the moment, English is only supported.
Does Imagine Support Symbols and letters?
Yes! Imagine supports all ASCII characters in the english language, including Symbol's and Lattin Letters.
Real world examples however of 3D File Managers have been done, and it seems they all stem from some major flaws.
Here is the Comparison
Them: Very... Very Slow... I have Tried alot of these applications and they run any where from 1 - 5 Frames Per Second.
Us: Imagine will run at 30 - 60 Steady... With Basic Hardware, in a Normal Directory.
Them: ,Primitive Old Projects, and Abandoned (Tear Tear)
Us: Upto Date, Using new programming idea's, Under new languages, with excellent stability
Them: No Chance At New Gaming Console Support.
Us: Full integration into Xbox 360 is VERY possible allowing us to have a 3D environment & OS Wrapper for all our needs on a Gaming Console.
